Positive thought affirmations are a great way to start your day! If you want a change in life this would be a great place to start. The definition of an affirmation is “emotional support or encouragement.” Having a positive thought a day or all day will start to replace the negative thoughts that tend to ruin our day. It comes down to choosing to change our thoughts. You are the only one that can decide to think positive or let the negative in. Only you can choose to let negative effect your life.

I personally love reading great quotes to help motivate or inspire me throughout the day. Starting and ending my day with positive thought affirmations, listening to music, reading books, and positive responses are just a few ways that I use to have a positive thoughts day. When we are faced with an upsetting event in our lives do you notice that letting the negative and depressing thoughts take over it takes longer to get through? My internet went out yesterday, but instead of letting it annoy me I thought of it as a great time to take a break from writing and spending extra time with my little one. We can let it effect us for as long as you choose.

Here is a study that I found very informative. It was done by Dr. Masaru Emoto and others. It shows the effect of positive and negative energy on crystallizing water molecules.
If that is the effects of positive thoughts on water, imagine what the effects could be on your own mind and body. This is why I try to be as positive as I can. When I am more positive it really does spread to the people around us. My kids have better days, my husband has started looking at his thoughts more, and I love myself more. People respond to you better, and it has actually helped my marriage! We weren’t really having any problems, but we did seem to be in a boring kind of blah phase. When I am being more positive it brings more fun into our lives.
